Another black powerhouse when it comes to engineering and other STEM programs.

Big fan of the state of Texas, in general, but also a fan of their HBCUs. The school houses and graduates a lot of black folks. A shining example of black excellence. I’m giving them an 8 simply from seeing them median salaries from some of their degree programs.

nikkas hold the record for the longest losing streak in football history. 80 games and 9 years.
Brehs look like they just won the Super Bowl when they snapped the streak

nikkas gave the coach a Gatorade bath

They still finished 1-10 that year
Also known for the most infamous band fight in HBCU history them and Southern University’s band was throwing tubas and shyt at each other in 98.


But outside of that I only hear good things about this school! I always thought it was in the metro Dallas area but I found out later it’s in the middle of nowhere like y’all said. Every black Texan I know speaks highly of it. They have a decent sized alumni base in Atlanta surprisingly.

I was older and commuted but was so mad I couldn't claim nothin lol

So my granny got sick with cancer back at chicago , I left and came back and did my last year living in Houston , it definitely hit different living off campus

Damn I luv and miss them PV days. I stayed on campus in UC my freshman year. Left school for a year and half then came back. I rented a house off campus in Pine Island went two upper classmen. The best decision ever. They kept my azz in check as far as school wise. Most of my professors were accessible. I swear I only stayed my azz in class because they all had hella chicks.

I was cool with everyone so I didnt want to join a frat. But them Kappa toga parties.
