I thought about it, but after seeing the leaderboards, it doesn't make that big of a difference. I think voters will be biased regardless. I also think it helps keep things diverse and interesting. So some may vote on strictly vocals alone but others may not be that well versed in judging vocal ability so I want those voters to take artistry and other standards into consideration.

agreed. just wanted to point out though that the metric system that you’ve set becomes skewed when votes are solely based on artistic merit (their preference) when a correlation can’t be made about vocals. This is where u have ppl like Sade in the same ranks as the mariah’s and anita’s even if she has no business being that high on any singer rate, but your sentiments were clear and I agree the way you done it works to create more traffic. congrats on this lil series breh

Anyhow, what will skew this with Sade is that she's very, very good within her range. It's just that that niche is pretty small for her. Add in the sex appeal and the waters get really muddy on this one.

I’m glad you brought this up. I’m not even sure she’s a better singer than those two

She is, if you listen to songs like Pearls and Clean Heart, although she’s yelling, they can’t hit those notes how she can.


Now I rate her a high 7-low 8 because her songs do run together and tend to have a lullaby effect. Classic and unique regardless.
