I will pass this along. I'm glad I have my current home inspected several times a year. Squirrels and other vermin do even more damage on the inside of a house.

Back in MIA
I lived in one of the most expensive cities per sq ft in Southern California (beach city).

It was winter (aka in the low 50s lol) I hadn’t moved my car for a week because of work travel. Came back to and hit the button to start the car. No sound, instead my dashboard lights up lights I didn’t even know existed.

Rats chewed out $10,000 worth of parts and labor wiring from my brand new (thank god leased) GS-F.

When it gets cold outside they’ll find a nice warm place to chill out and nest. No city is immune.

Guarantee a lot of the NYC issues come from a lack of predator animals.

Get some Western Diamondbacks, Water Moccasins, Coyotes etc., and those rat populations would dip.

There will always be small rodents but they're in an environment without enough natural predators to keep their numbers down. Lots of food and trash cans too? Easy.

nah, that sounds worse than rats. rats can be taken care of with poison, traps, repellents, etc.

My brother has a Ford Fusion and his wires got chewed up twice by rats. Once here in Chicago and once in DC. Also his car has wires that are soy based, so that means

Also it doesn't help his car is kept outside in a heavily rat infested area whereas my car is garage kept in a super clean alley.

His car is 11 Ford fusion. Mine is 15 Acura TLX
