you can tell when a black person is doing good in life, They start focusing on bs topics like this, instead of real issues affecting our community.
Don't call me black call me yada yada

The term african american was actually born from a person on this type time. "Don't call me Negro call me African american."
And now those same type of people are rejecting it and try to come up with new terms. trying to out blavity each other
Imagine upping this thread made by a c00n Nigerian who whole history on here is calling for Black American males to be hung from trees. A dude who said he wished he could join the kkk. A dude who stayed calling Black Americans N****r. A c00n who stayed begging the coli for gofundme donations. :dead:

This very board started off with beaucoup posters calling Black Americans akatas and other bigoted shyt.

The board that mourn the dead c00n mutt @charmander who stayed talking about joining the kkk and joked about molesting babies and rape of women. :camby:

Thats my point. "african american" was literally the orignal ADOS/FBA term. now its dated to current blavities. and they trying to come up with a new blavity term to use. 40 years from now. people will be on some "Don't call me ados, my history doesn't begin with slavery. Call me yada yada" Its just meaningless babble.
This is too simple. It doesn't take into account immigrants being colonizers. A Indian nikka running for mayor lied about this and his identity. This isn't about people being tired or changing their minds, it's about immigrants colonizing the term. It's weak and lazy to fault people that want change as opposed to shaming the people that use the term for benefit.

It's no different than the term "woke" being colonized and repurposed. Immigrants are colonizers in real time. Would you downplay it if it were any other group? As a matter of fact, what would other groups do if it were them? I'm pretty sure other groups would have an issue if we did it. Let's say we went into Ghana and tried this there. What do you think would happen?

Pan-Africans are nothing but nikkas that love Africa too much. Buddy probably ain't a Pan-African but I know he know they burn people alive for less.

Whats to stop them from lying regardless of the name? Those indians knew they weren't african. That form was asking about race not nationality.
There was no point where he genuinely believed there was a question of whether he had african genetics. Indians are supposed to select asian/pacific islander.
They all know this. Them BSing is not going change just because we change the name.

I agree with what's to stop them from lying. Why are or would we be allies with liars?

If she had explained it this well when she was talking to Oprah, I dont think there would have been the same backlash. But I guess that comes with age.

She's absolutely right here.
