Breh, im a casual and even I know that nikkas on bullshyt saying that. Idk if it's the hate for Lamar or people really that dumb. They must only watch highlight and look at the boxscore to come to that conclusion. No way anyone who has watched the ravens for years can say he a top 5 coach. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis hated him. He was about to be fired before Lamar saved his job.

Before some of you nikkas quote me talking about "but zay fumbled, loop missed a kick, henry fumbled, lamar blah blah", yes no one is absolving the players. But the fact yall are arguing with that evidence tells me yall only watch the highlights/clips and not full games. For years coaching decisions have fukked up games/seasons too. Why did they go away from the run(that was working) in the AFCCG? Then the pass plays they ran were trash with long running routes when the chiefs were getting to lamar quick. Why did it take so long for them to learn how to use henry that first year? Why do they keep going away from the run when it's working? Coaching. That's not even taking into account the trash OC/DC hires which is important because Harbaugh doesnt do either.
Don't forget the oline situation. Refusing to bring in guys to make it a competition, staying with a lineman who blocks his own team more than he blocks the opponent, and an oline that constantly gets bad penalties at the worst moments. And that doesn't begin to sum up the problems with the Ravens. I like Harbs but if we're being real, he's underachieved a lot. He's had too much talent on his teams to only make it to 1 Superbowl.

By early December of 2024, 3 of the ravens starting offensive linemen were among the 10 most penalized players in the league. If you want to point to something that shows lack of discipline, that’s it. Holding penalties and pre snap penalties kill drives dead and their linemen commit them more than any others.

Underachieving was the theme of his career.

Should’ve been the 1 seed and at least reached the Super Bowl in 2010. Instead they were the 5 seed and lost in the divisional round.

Should’ve been the 1 seed and won the Super Bowl in 2011. Ended up the 2 seed and gagged away the afc title game.

Should’ve been division champs in 2014 and at least reached the afc title game. Settled for 3rd in the north and blew multiple 14 point 2nd half leads in the divisional round.

Should’ve clinched the north in week 14-15 of the 2016 season. Instead the Steelers knocked them out and took the north on Christmas night.

Should’ve made the playoffs in 2017. A non playoff team scored a 50 yard touchdown on 4th down in week 17 at home to knock them out.

Should’ve won it all as the 1 seed in 2019. Got their asses kicked by a 9-7 squad at home in the divisional round.

Should’ve won it all as the 1 seed in 2023. Had the worst coaching performance of all time en route to losing the afc title game after playing it at home for the first time in team history.

Should’ve at least been in the afc title game in 2024. Bad route running, bad snaps, bad defense, fumbles, & drops ended their season in the divisional round instead.

His refusal to bench bad players always came back to bite him. 2014 was defined by his refusal to bench Matt Elam, Frank Walker, and Rashaan Melvin. Those 3 were the guys most responsible for their playoff loss to New England. His insistence on making Michael Oher a left tackle cost them games repeatedly during his time on the team. These were all over the top, but refusing to bench the 2 worst offensive linemen (at least Faalele anyway) in the league essentially and it getting his quarterback injured was his worst offense yet on this front.

Dudes really said John fukking Harbaugh is a Top 5 coach :dead: :dead: :dead:

Just admit you don't watch games, it's easier :laff:

Reading some of those comments had me thinking that Ravens fans must be thinking this is low level rage bait.

Not a Ravens fan, but I watch at least 70-80% of their games, so I KNOW Harbs is a garbage ass coach. ALWAYS has been.

I said in the Ravens thread, no one, no coach in any sport, would get away with the shyt he has got away with for so long. Not Phil Jackson, not Alex Ferguson. And they are coaches who lead multiple dynasties.

Someone talked about Lamar’s performance against the Chiefs in the playoffs two years ago, how many remember that Harbaugh changed their game plan from what worked for them all year in that game? Others mentioned Harbaugh winning a title, how many remember that the leaders of that team revolted against him during it. Harbaughs next team might be good, but they would have be so in spite of him.

I tried to explain it to my homie like this… Doug Collin’s wasn’t a bad coach either, but it was clear as day he wasn’t the coach to take that team to dynasty status so the bulls had to make a change. Lamar still has 3-4 elite years left, possibly more if he keeps getting better, better to do this now.

But Jordan ran it back with Doug Collins his Wizards years.....and that was a few years removed from Doug getting fired by the Pistons.

If Jordan knees wasn't bad with the wizards...he could have gotten out the east to lose to the Lakers or Spurs.
