Ravens time to win was the last 2 playoff seasons where i had them as favorites, while im not big on Harbaugh I wouldn't put those losses on him squarely. I do think monken and company gets to cute in regular season where they would stop running the ball. I do agree with orr though but they dont have the defensive line talent anymore , two much money and picks spent in secondary , roquan is now washed. They should have won both that chiefs and bills game
The Ravens not running the ball when they should was happening long before Monken. You can go all the way back to 2014

Have people been actually watching these critical Baltimore games the last few seasons or just following hot takes and hit pieces?

Baltimore has been coached to be in winning position the last three seasons. It's been the silly fluke shyt their players have did that sets them back every time. Tay Flowers, Marc Andrews, and Derrick Henry all goofed big games off. Then you have this young kicker that blew it. Regardless of the wind when it's time to earn your keep you step up and earn it.

How John gets cooked is beyond me

You could tell that the locker room started checking out.

Good coach but that offensive scheme left alot to be desired.

This is how I imagine Trump post presidency agenda will be rewritten :russ:

We’ve all seen in real time he was in fact a big reason of their shortcomings. Raven fans haven’t been calling for his firing for no reason
Nah they need a culture change. His message got stale. Blowing all those 4th quarter leads wasn’t all on him but you gotta make a huge change somewhere and it damn sure wasn’t gonna be Lamar. How many coordinators you gonna thru? Harbs had a great run but the common denominator is him

Mike still the longest tenured coach
There's a good chance he will resign if he loses next Monday.
He’s a solid coach and he won’t be unemployed long, but sometimes it’s time for a change of scenery. I feel the same way about Brother Tomlin in Pittsburgh.
Exactly. The time is coming for Tomlin. I think both are great coaches but afc north is due for a change overall.
He’s a good coach.

A lot of the games they lost came from players fukking up. Dropping balls, not staying inbounds, fumbling and missing kicks.

But he takes the blame I guess.
This. Harbaugh is a great coach whose team failed him MULTIPLE times when it mattered the most. Lamar fukked up so many times in the playoffs, and then other players did dumb shyt, like ol boy fumbling the ball against the chiefs last year. He had some very dominant regular season teams in recent years but overall his team failed him, as evidenced with the missed field goal kick. Yes Harbaugh sometimes mismanaged shyt in the moment but overall he was a great coach. I think the Ravens will take a big step back and we will see what the public sentiment will be about Lamar.

I'll never forget Harbaugh's face after that missed field goal. He knew he was gone.

He had to go becuz every year he has one of the most talented teams in the league and they can never get over the hump. When your franchise QB is done with your HC you gotta move on

Great coach or not his message was stale. I was ready for him to be fired a couple weeks ago when they took Henry out the game in the 4th quarter against the Pats. When asked why they did it Harbs was like “we have a rotation we stuck with”
:beli:

I liked Harbs but it was time to move on. Keeping him around is like staying in a bad long term relationship just becuz ur comfortable
:heh:

Nah, I think Tomlin stays around longer than Harbaugh.

The difference between Pittsburgh and Baltimore is that the Steelers don't have the same aspirations as the Ravens. For numerous seasons, the Ravens have held up to Super Bowl contender status, and their team has been somewhat stacked, where the expectations of the past few seasons have been very high to the point that they should've made a Super Bowl appearance by now.

Whereas for the Steelers, there are no championship aspirations, they're just simply playing the game with no real expectations, outside of just making the postseason, it seems, and they still don't have a real quarterback. Rodgers at this age is just a rental. Obviously, the fanbase may have a different opinion, but I think making the postseason and having winning regular-season records is good enough for management.

I will say this: the moment Tomlin finishes the regular season under .500, and they miss the playoffs, is when I could see a change potentially happening, but if he keeps this streak of his going, I think he'll have a place in Pittsburgh.
