Great coach or not his message was stale. I was ready for him to be fired a couple weeks ago when they took Henry out the game in the 4th quarter against the Pats. When asked why they did it Harbs was like “we have a rotation we stuck with”
:beli:

I liked Harbs but it was time to move on. Keeping him around is like staying in a bad long term relationship just becuz ur comfortable
:heh:
We will see what this brings in the coming years. I don't think this will put them over the hump.

Ravens about to realize what’s it’s like to NOT have coaching stability :russ:

But this is now the most attractive job available by a mile. But they better hope they get this right. You probably have 2-3 more MVP caliber seasons left in Lamar at most. They won’t have many more shots at this before he starts slowing down.

If I’m them I’m avoid retreads and calling Curt Cignetti and asking how he feels about coaching in the pros. Don’t bullshyt around with Stefanski and Schwartz

How we get into this

#MAFIA

Other than @Blessings , I've probably been the biggest or one of the biggest Lamar supporters here. However, people can't always just bring up what they believe are a lack of criticism about Allen to deflect from Lamar and the Ravens playoff woes.

I don't care if it's a new head coach and offensive coordinator next year, the Ravens need to be better and that starts with the QB. No excuses for next year, and that's the same thing I've said about Burrow for a while. I do think the Ravens "weapons" on offense have gotten far more praise than they deserve, outside of Henry though. They are not these elite weapons. There are probably 10-15 teams that I'd say have better offensive weapons as a whole than the Ravens.

Bengals
Chiefs
Chargers
Jaguars
Lions
Rams
49er's
Cowboys
Eagles
Falcons

There are some other teams such as the Bears, Packers, and Colts that you could argue have more offensive talent, but I'd take the teams I listed weapons over the Ravens.

And Zac Taylor still has a job smh. Even tho it wasn’t a mutual split, everyone can see both sides need a fresh start

Turf Toe Joe wanted him back and Bengals ownership too cheap to pay out his contract if they fired him.

Lamar sent a message when he refused to answer questions about wanting Harbaugh back after the loss.

He’s a solid coach and he won’t be unemployed long, but sometimes it’s time for a change of scenery. I feel the same way about Brother Tomlin in Pittsburgh.
Pitt loses another home playoff game to the Jags plenty of people will still be calling for Tomlin’s head.

Like you said, sometimes you just need a change of voice in the room

Do you genuinely believe that Harbaugh is that big of a loss? He consistently lost games he shouldn't have across multiple QBs and coordinators for almost a decade.

It's much more likely that this is a Dungy to Gruden situation than an Andy Reid being replaced by Chip Kelly.

.....I think McDermott might be in the hot seat too actually if the Bills get cooked by the Texans.
