According to the police report, Vedvik was out in Fells Point earlier in the evening before he was assaulted, but he doesn’t remember the circumstances that led to his assault.

Vedvik was out with a couple of teammates, but they decided they wanted to leave. Vedvik reportedly decided to stay out with a couple ladies he was with.

The teammates he was out with said they called him just after 3 a.m., and Vedvik said he was “good.”

Later on, the kicker would end up three miles away from Fells, in the 200 block of Boone Street in East Baltimore, where he was assaulted and robbed around 4 a.m.

:francis: Dude got setup by random women he met clearly. When its too good to be true, it probably is. Breh thought he was about to eat and ended up being food :francis:

Highly doubt it, most guys with common sense aren't meeting women in the hood. I think he went there to get drugs which is why he is not snitching. If it was a tinder date set up, he would have said something.

He was out by the waterfront with his teammates, met some women and left with them. His teammates called it a night, and he told them he was good. They took him to the hood and set him up.

obviously he was setup by some females cause theres no other reason for him to had been there

drugs are everywhere so you dont have to go to the hood to get whatever you want

DC has changed from the late 1990s. Coke ain't being sold like that. K4 Synthetic Weed is being sold a lot more and heroin is prevalent.

Just about all of NW DC is gentrified now and still boasts the richest residents. SW has gotten a face lift with new developments around Wharf and Maine Avenue. Areas of NE DC are getting gentrified as we speak. SE DC across the river in Anacostia also has some new development but it remains the cheapest area of the city but there's no grocery stores, no retail, and is an after thought.

My father had a Somali restaurant on U Street back then. And the green line was still new. So the area there had more traffic but nearby at Malcolm X Park, there was always a bunch of drug fiends, hookers, etc. I always wanted to go up the hill to the park as a kid but was always told nope.

Plenty of people do. Either from Baltimore City or the counties near it. The MARC train goes to Union Station and then you can use the metro. Some people drive :damn:

Property is mad cheap in Baltimore. The time to buy and hold onto something is now. My pops friend bought two houses for $25k each.

I live in Bowie which is in PG County. I commute to work in downtown DC by driving... takes less than an hour most days.
Appreciate the info from a real local...Dap+Rep:salute:

Always keepin my eyes open for opportunities...been skeptical of DC just because of how crazy rents are out there, good to know that the Baltimore commute is a real option.
