Bout to give this a spin. Was kinda tight that Zay gave him a watered down version of his East Chatt track, but it def put him on my radar. :jbhmm:

Buddy done had a rough life. Project could use a few more up tempo cuts but I feel like he stuck to the theme of the album pretty well.

He can spit, my biggest complaint about him is the same thing that keeps me from really listening to Meek - over aggressive (yelling) rapping. If he would weave the mellow and aggressive flow together and a little less of the "dollar menu" he'd have a strong conversation about this being mentioned all year.

Sadly, even though there are a handful of really good songs on here, most of them are forgettable.

I've listened to this a couple of times now and I'm enjoying it. He's really putting his heart into it and telling some real stories.

I always found his delivery a little over active and all over the place but it feels like he's starting to tone it down here. "XXXL Tee", "Klown Dance" and "Dolla Menu" all stood out to me

Him and LaRussell have good chemistry as well, would like to see them do more together.

He’s similar to Reason (but better) in that they both aren’t bad rappers and make technically good songs, but there’s nothing exciting about them. It’s like cookie cutter, this is what a dope modern hip hop song should sound like. After a listen, I’m not disappointed, but there isn’t anything that will ever make me gravitate to it again.
