As far as being a battle fan I was in the loop until the Cassidy battle
But when new era fans had diz winning the battle even after diz was jumping up and down with excitement during Cassidy’s rounds and making excuses like he thought someone in Cassidy’s entourage had a gun so it threw him off I was like this shyt is a joke and lost interest

Cassidy beat Diz, but if I remember correctly, you were acting as if Cassidy was unbeatable at the time. You definitely do not seem in turn with battle rap and come in here for someone like a Cassidy or Mook.
Therefore, I can see why you believe Mook won, and why you would be unable to tell that his bars & delivery seemed liked like they were from a decade ago.

Twin .45's bar was fine. It wasn't supposed to have some deep meaning or be an over the head bar, just a straight forward punch delivered well that hit hard in the room. That's nowhere near as bad as Mook thinking he's a genius or revolutionary saying shyt like "I can haul it" or "see I meant" (supposedly meaning "cement")

Let’s establish this. You CLEARLY have a fondness for guys like Cassidy and Mook. That’s why you are in this thread, correct? You are never in this forum unless these guys are battling. Therefore, when they battle, you are more inclined to give them the win.
Diz/Cassidy and Mook/Verb are two completely different battles. I’m not sure what the comparison is here.
On night 1, Cassidy did not have delivery, bars, or performance. When the battle was rescheduled the next day, the small room benefitted him. He did have performance and delivery, because he did not have to cater to hundreds of people. His bars were definitely outdated. He still won the battle though.
It’s like you are trying to compare Cassidy’s bars and Verbs’ bars now.

This is my first time watching the battle, and I was looking forward to Mook losing like y'all nikkas said. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. I just watched the first round (the one y'all say definitely went to Verb), and Mook won that round. I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like Mook at all. Simple bars and theatrics impress y'all nikkas in this era. That's why battle rap is trash now.
