Red Dead was that shyt

I swear when you're riding on your horse on your way up through the snowy forest when you past the waterfall n shyt is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen in a game!

Red Dead is a beautiful game. Love the old West setting. Great atmosphere. Still gonna have to give the nod to GTA IV for the characters, stories and over-the-top violence.

Hopefully a new Red Dead is coming after the next GTA.

I'm a city nikka tho and that country western shyt just didn't appeal to me

Game was just boring IMO

Gta4 wasn't all that but it was better then red dead

Grand Theft Auto 4. By a mile. I Tried to play Red Dead on three different occasions, couldn't be more bored by a open world game.

Wow it seems like people on here either think that it's one of the best games of the generation or that it sucks and they didn't spend any time with it.
I thought it was good but I have to say I think it's massively overrated, it's got good atmosphere and story and all that but the most important part of a game to me is the GAMEPLAY and that's where this fell short, that tiny aiming icon the games controls were very clunky. It'd probably be the GOAT western Movie but was a game it fell short to me in that aspect.
I really didn't expect people to call this game GOTY let alone GOT Generaton.
For me that title goes to Mass Effect 3 easy *puts on flame suit*
I've tried not to sell games anymore because I want to support devs but this MP3 and inFamous are the only real games I sold back (besides COD:MW2 )

I've never been into the whole Western Genre, in films, video games, etc. For me to say RDR was way ahead of GTA4, just goes to show how dope the game really was. . Easily Missions in GTA4 felt like a burden. On the other hand, the missions in RDR were done oh so well. The overall story was def on point as well.

Oh yeah and John Marston >>>> Any of those main characters in GTA4.

RDR by a long margin. GTA4 isn't even the best GTA game, it's #3 at best.

GTA4. I love RDR too. played the story bout 3 times already but man some of those trips on horseback were and not in a good way. I'd be damn there falling asleep in my chair with some of those long ass journeys. GTA4 i just call my cousin and he's sending me a driver
