If they were talking about 2 years ago, chances is they knew about it. That's not suspicious to you? Sounds like the burden of proof is on you.

You do know that there were other pandemics that occurred right after the WHO made that statement and the one that's happening now right? Why didnt they claim that any one of those pandemics that occurred between that time they said about disease x and the one happening now were disease x? None of the other pandemics fit the description of disease X (a currently unknown pathogen that could cause a global pandemic).

The first cases are dated back to November, unrelated to the wet market, but the wet market in Wuhan is where it seemed to explode from. It's possible it could have spread just the same without it, but it certainly seemed to accelerate the spread in Wuhan.
