I agree it doesn't make sense now. I'm actually not getting either a ps4 or xbone this holiday. I'm seeing this as a thread about eventually owning all the platforms. And I stand by my thought that a lot of gamers here will. For example, I don't think most of the xbox crew is going to let the generation go by without playing the next Naughty Dog classic.

Well... seeing as how the 360 hasn't had much of anything release exclusively for it in the past 2 to 3 years besides the Halo/Gears and how plenty of Xbots don't have PS3s in that time span lets me know that some people don't care about Sony or the Playstation in general.

Same way some Sony stans do not care about playing Halo or Gears.

People passed up on Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us this time around and continued to play multiplats instead, so I don't see that changing next gen.

but at this point you're just buying different proprietary hardware that does more or less the same thing. imagine how ridiculous it would sound if some PC game came out that only ran on Dell computers

i don't stan anything, but i've always preferred consoles to pc. maybe the steambox controller, will change that? until then, i'm sticking with the ps3. i have so many games, that i haven't even played, it would be foolish to buy the newer version, until i beat them all. besides that, once the new generation comes out, everyone knows the price will drop tremendously on the older ones.

for this generation a real gamer will have ps4, xboxone, and a pc on deck, anything less is fanboy. cause reality is there will be a game on each platform everyone wants to play. and none of that ill wait a year, real gamer buys it day it drops

So if you can't afford all the systems, then you not a REAL GAMER
What if your not a nerd and don't game on PC, you not a real gamer either?
A real gamer is a gamer who doesn't allow fanboy shyt to shape his view on a current or future game
A real gamer won't hate on progress. Kinect lead to Kinect 2.0. People are hating on 2.0 and they never tried 1.0
A real gamer wants innnovation, not just a me too approach (PSeye)
A real gamer would want to play online with as less lag as possible while not having to worry about aim-bots
and other silly online ways of "chearting" so they can just enjoy the experience the way it was intended

You can be a real gamer and only have a Wii-U. Some will agree thats the only place where real games are being made these days.
But there is no Wii-gaming alternative. Xbox/PS3 kinda same market, so a real gamer would buy a PS3 today over an XB1 if they wanted new last gen games.

Going into this new gen, you'd want an XB1 for the variety of new experiences being offered.
PC gamers have better looking versions, but they don't have the choices console gamers have
And the real games are made for consoles.

I grew up on Nintendo. Only had a NES at one time. I wasn't a real gamer then? I think your a dumbass if you really believe that bruh (Tru Story)
