I got my passport in Dec after not having one for two decades, it happens

Had my Real ID since 2020 but i keep my passport on me just in case i need it. You should have enough of what they are asking for to get the ID just for your own records, so if you do not it is time to get your document game up.

I mean what states are not compliant? Feel like I've been hearing this for over a decade and I've had my Real ID DL for a decade or more (did the last renewal online because of it)

Real id been a thing for 20 years, a lot of ppl waited till the last minute to bytch and moan

Whats gets me is , to get my drivers license i needed , birth certificate, Social Security card, and billing address in the late 90s to get my license,,

Shid. When I can back from being stationed in England, I had nothing but a birth certificate and they would not let me get a license without SS card/BC/passport/2 forms of residence (bills). This was to get a cell phone and a license but I was able to rent a car on day one without nothing and on my 4th day back I actually bought a car without no license or anything. Still don't make sense to me.
