The best PS4 games this gen have almost all been multiplat. GTAV, Fallout 4, Batman: AK, Witcher 3, MGSV, etc. Same with the Xbox One. Horizon Zero Dawn and UC4 are the the PS4 exclusives competing with those titles. The console wars let consumers down this console cycle.

They are in a bad spot right now, and honestly they can only hope to keep up and eventually win if they consistently drop the most powerful system that's easy to develop for. The gaming scene is shifting again, its not only about hyper realistic games, its also about anime and weird goofy games again. Microsoft has never been strong in that section and now on top of that they don't really have great exclusives and that's what people look at 1st.

"What can i get on this system that I can't get on another one" Microsoft has no answer for that, and sony and nintendo have plenty.... So they need to have the BEST looking and running games by far if they plan on getting ahead down the line some point.

Yeah but you left out alot of other strong titles, like yak 0, persona (which is HUGE) and other niche titles that really touch a vocal group.

They also get a bunch of remakes and dual releases that the xbox1 doesn't of smaller titles.


For you casual gamer, the xb1 is more than enough, but anything above that the ps4 is the system to get now, followed by the switch.


The xbx1 is a luxury system for those with 4k setups and that want the best looking version of multi plat games.
