I can't believe they're waiting until August. Interest will be so lost with the game.

I just want my season pass dlc. Why are they delaying that for us that already bought it and have the game? shyt pisses me off
that's probably how long it's gonna take to fix shyt. and that's just for the "interim patch", so they probably know they're still gonna have to fix more shyt before they can re-release it on PC

when they pulled the game from Steam, it seemed apparent that there wouldn't be a quick fix for the game's issues. they're probably holding the DLC back so they can ensure it works correctly with the game if/when it's finally 'fixed'. plus the fact that it would be kind of awkward to charge for DLC for a game that's not even available for sale. I understand some people already paid for it, but I'm sure they don't want to give it to season pass holders, but hold it back for everyone else. the whole situation is unprecedented, so it's hard to say what they 'should' do

The 8-4 and fiery moats
u dreamed of 50 tank battles
button mashing
and 0 detective work
corny story

oh i aiight must be 2 sides
:heh: Uhhh bruh there was plenty of detective work in this game. Bats looking for fingerprints, identifying bodies like in City, checking video evidence, tracking vehicles, etc.

As for button mashing, you try that shyt on higher difficulty with those big ass dudes with a 10 foot reach rolling up in those mobs.

And yeah there was mad tank battles, but honestly after playing through the game a second time with new game plus, the battles don't seem nearly as frequent as I remembered with my first time.

The story though, to each his own. I liked it :yeshrug:

So Cal
after giving it some time to sit, yup. shyt is the weakest batman game. batmobile is just forced upon you again and again and again, and although it grew on me, that shyt was too much of a focus. not a bad game, nowhere near the first two, it's right there with origins, i might even put origins above it. 7/10

I played it for a bit, but the series has gone downhill with each iteration for me.

Once the initial amazement at the fact that you really felt like batman wore off, then its painfully evident the gameplay is pretty shallow. Combat looks good, but ultimately its just like QTE. Exploration is pretty shallow with the bat vision stuff. Best part of these games was the stealth/stalking stuff. They tried to add more to it with the batmobile, but that's just as shallow as the rest of the stuff.

Looking back, I think this series was overhyped to begin with. :manny:
The first game was perfect. Nothing over hyped about it.

But since then its been stagnant. Making it open world added nothing but time padding.

You can semi button mash all Arkham Games (its not like they once had DMC combo combat)

I already said I enjoyed everything the batmobile brought to the table. It handled like a beast and reminds me of the tumbler.

The game I played had detective work? Professor pig storyline, listening to thugs for hints on the where abouts of missing Firemen, listening in to police radio also helped me out. All those damn riddles/questioning henchmen to find locations, using sonar to find shyt, listening out around the city for man bat.

And the story is on par with every thing else they've released (joker+other villians+twist+ quarantined piece of land)?

I'd like to know who in this thread played ORIGINS. because I skipped that game after feeling burnt out from AC and this game felt fresh and new (even though it was more of the same).

I stopped playing it after about 3 hours. But I also stopped playing Witcher 3 after about 10 hours. I'll probably return and finish both one day but man, fukk these open world, bloated ass games. :yeshrug:

I played Origins and enjoyed it. Game play wasn't an improvement to City with a new team working on it, but it had the best story to me. The boss fights were MUCH better than this one as well. Give it a shot if you're a fan of the series.

Im thinking about it (Ive been on a batman tear lately) but after playing Arkham Knight, I dunno if I can go back to no batmobile and sub 1080p :noah:

They need to remaster it along with the first two :mjpls:

Arkham Origins was fun. If you want your Deathstroke hand to hand boss battle, its in AO. That's why it didn't bother me that he was in a tank for AK...

Yeah I feel ya on going back down from 1080p, but Origins also has a different art style which shouldn't make things too much of a down grade.

Origins still has one of the best cut scenes of the Arkham series...
