I already know this. Homie, I was hanging in DC sometime 2012 (before LongLiveASAP) and I was talking to a Harlem chick. She told me flat out "Rocky trash and we don't bump that nikka" :russ:

But that's my point: her reaction shows me how trash NY has become. A lot of you are corny, completely out of touch and inconsistent.

The mixtape in my avi (Live.Love.ASAP) sounds closer to golden era NY rap than Hot nikka. Yeah we can talk about The South and all that, but "Peso" and "Trilla" have boom bap stuff in there. Scratches, Das EFX vocal samples, even drum patterns...

"Hot nikka" looks and feels exactly like a drill song. dikkrode Chicago wholesale, which in itself is a sound based of The South :mjlol: But somehow that's more acceptable than Rocky.

I already know NY don't rock with Rocky. and you guys are proving my points.

Y'all have no idea what's even dope anymore. That's why we in Toronto are running your shyt.
It was on a Lloyd Banks track :what:

For the last time, it's not just "a Lloyd Banks" track. Stop using such mental gymnastics. The similarities to Chicago rap are so damn obvious to anyone who's been paying attention to rap.

Reppin
BX, NYC
his raps are shyt to me
he often can't catch the beat and his lyrics are stupid as fukk
i just can't dig his whole vibe
plus wtf is a Moroccan doing spitting the n word like it ain't even a problem?
His Coke Boyz and Mac & Cheese mixtape series have a lot of gems. I'm not even going to get into his work with Max B.

He's not the best technical MC but he has his moments. His flow and voice are his strong points and he's a great hook man, he has an ill beat selection too.

Shot Caller is a classic New York record that's not debatable... :wow:
