NYC is gonna stay right where it is because you people can't decide which artists you hate more than the other.

Yall don't fukk with any of your own people, and claim you don't like anybody else's music on principle yet steady bumping their stuff.

As far as Shmurda goes, I'm laughing. Youtube picked him. The nation picked him. Not NYC. As far as I can see, people discovered where he was from after the fact and went ohhhh shyt we got one! He had one song and a dance and that's all he was good for.

:mjlol: At this lame talking bout hurricane after New York almost by a weak ass hurricane sandy :lolbron: nikkaz was shook

We went to multiple places and took over the streets :ohhh:

I don't think there ever been a city that recovered from a huge hurricane like NYC. Let's be for real about this.

He did 2 or 3 years ago.

What sucks is that the nikkaz on GS9 weren't bad. They like GBE on steroids.
His album was :trash: but his last three mixtapes released over the last year and a half all have heat. Off The Rip is arguably the hottest song of the summer in NY this year.

They def were better than GBE, they can actually spit. Abillyon and Shmurda could outrap anyone on GBE.

The Coli is censoring the word 'nikka' in the link.
Oh :lolbron:

I read it and that article isn't saying shyt...

"Bobby's flow is like is crossing Chicago's Z-Money with Uncle Murda—which doesn't feel much like a coincidence. The 20-year-old Bobby hails from East Flatbush, Brooklyn, but his video looks and feels distinctly inspired by Chicago's drill scene. These aren't shirtless kids waving extended clips at the camera, but Bobby and his friends feel like authentically rowdy New York kids—the kind that get into fights on the train—the same way Chief Keef or Lil Reese represented for Chicago's youth. However, unlike someone like Keef, Bobby is much more dexterous on the mic."

Who the fukk is Z-Money nobody in NY know who that is... :what:

Bobby is a fan of Uncle Murda... :manny:

Stylistically it's not drill inspired just a low budget street video with a bunch of Crips on some Smack DVD shyt in Brooklyn. Drill videos are typically edited with filters, are much darker and like the author of the Cacplex article said have gun waving.

808's does not equal drill... :heh:

Breh, I know imitation drill when I see it. I seen videos of teens from the projects in the BX making drill music to a tee.

There's a gang on Washington Ave that goes by DieL's same shyt that Lil Durk reps in the Chi.

There's teens out here who love Chief Keef. I'm not denying that.

This just aint it breh...its not drill influenced. :manny:

Only evidence nikkas show is an 808's heavy beat+street video+gun talk=drill c'mon now

Big difference in the visuals, instrumentally, lyrically, vibe...

:comeon:

Bobby had charmisma out the ass ane was a decent rapper, if he didn't make it with music, I could've definetely seen him as an actor or some type of media personality. Rowdy was the best out the click, it's messed up those guys are in jail.

French affiliation helped him get a decent NY fanbase. :ehh:

Rowdy sounded too much like A$AP Ferg he was kinda wack breh :russ:, Abilly and Shmurda were def better.

Rowdy was gonna have those turn up joints though low key this song made some noise.

His Coke Boyz and Mac & Cheese mixtape series have a lot of gems. I'm not even going to get into his work with Max B.

He's not the best technical MC but he has his moments. His flow and voice are his strong points and he's a great hook man, he has an ill beat selection too.

Shot Caller is a classic New York record that's not debatable... :wow:

I might have to download a couple mistakes and reevaluate :ehh:
