yep same way Stack Bundles, Tru Life, Saigon, Papoose, Chinx, French Montana, Uncle Murder etc were gonna save NY right :sas1:
French is a dope established artist and he holds it down.

Tru Life and Uncle Murda? Who said them nikkas had next? :mjlol:

Chinx was under French he was a dope mixtape artist nothing more nobody said he had next.

Saigon came out too late and Stack had mad potential. Nikkas didn't bump no Pap like that...

Bobby had actual hits and actually had the city on lock. :comeon:
I thought Choppas on Deck is better than anything Rocky ever did
I fukk with that track but hell nah I wouldnt even say thats Ferg's best let alone better than anything Rocky got.

People still running with this 'sounds like drill' bullshyt like drill actually has a sound and the song wasn't a freestyle over a lloyd banks beat :snoop:

I already know this. Homie, I was hanging in DC sometime 2012 (before LongLiveASAP) and I was talking to a Harlem chick. She told me flat out "Rocky trash and we don't bump that nikka" :russ:

But that's my point: her reaction shows me how trash NY has become. A lot of you are corny, completely out of touch and inconsistent.

The mixtape in my avi (Live.Love.ASAP) sounds closer to golden era NY rap than Hot nikka. Yeah we can talk about The South and all that, but "Peso" and "Trilla" have boom bap stuff in there. Scratches, Das EFX vocal samples, even drum patterns...

"Hot nikka" looks and feels exactly like a drill song. dikkrode Chicago wholesale, which in itself is a sound based of The South :mjlol: But somehow that's more acceptable than Rocky.

I already know NY don't rock with Rocky. and you guys are proving my points.

Y'all have no idea what's even dope anymore. That's why we in Toronto are running your shyt.
:mjlol: This deluded assgap stan actin like Rocky is some ground breaking artists going over New Yorker's heads

You'd have a point if Rocky was popular in any hood's across America, he's irrelevant to the hood in in all 50 states & exists purely in a hypbeast/hipster sphere. Rocky represents Soho, not the real NYC & this is why he's never had local love like that, if you weren't exactly what you accuse the rest of us being (out of touch) you'd understand this.

Joey Badass gotta get G Unit to cosign his squad and start making some party singles. He's the only NY nikka getting mass appeal off of classic New York sounds and real lyrical talent. B4.DA.$$ did numbers without one real radio banger and he's like 20. Joey can still do catchy shyt like Run Up on Ya and Teach Me. He just needs an R&B bytch to get on a hook with smooth production. Yall should really focus on putting Joey on more.

He was but let's not act like he was a generational talent that would hold it down for years like a Jay Nas Biggie or 50. NY needs a Kendrick/Drake/Cole to come through
I'm honing my craft for the East breh :mjcry:

And y'all can't say ASAP has no movement when he's actually moving units. I agree his "street buzz" dwindled but 100k plus for a hard core base is very solid in 2015.

ASAP has a movement but he does not get love like that in NYC. NYC has some good lyricists like Dave East and Joey Badass but they're either not as artistically inclined or ill as a Kendrick or Cole, or as innovative as a Drake. The lil hipster "Beast Coast" movement with Flatbush Zombies and Underachievers and all of them are just OK, really Fab and GS9 runs/ran things in NY

Btw I checked out some of your music, it was pretty nice :ehh:
