This is true, and I bet most people will agree. RD is a great album in its own right but those Death Row albums are amazing to this day.

The reality is in 96 jay z was a nobody and nobody gave a shyt about rd. Fact is rd was never called a classic until jay started telling people it was then all his stans followed suit.

This is 100% the truth. Back then, nobody thought of Jay-Z the way people now think of him. It wasn't until "Hard Knock Life" when Jay-Z got more mainstream recognition.

He and Puffy were the main two biggest benefactors of Biggie dying.
