No, Billups, McGrady and Hill (Grant?) aren't better candidates than Ginobili. What arguments do they have for the HOF ahead of Ginobili?

Lol, why he was drafted so low, what kind of stupid question is that? If Thabeet is so bad then why was he drafted so high :troll:?

The Peja Stojakovic comparison you trynna run with is stupid to begin with. He was a bench player for his championship, while Ginobili was 2nd or 3rd option for all of his and played a vital role on the Spurs succees for the last ten years. Peja actually peaked very high and had some very productive years but he didn't sustain his level of play for many years so that makes him to the HOF laughable. And he isn't nearly as decorated as Ginobili overall so I don't know why you're running with the comparison.

And lastly, do you not comprehend that Ginobili brought an olympic gold medal to Argentina? That's HUGE. Come on, he dropped 29 on team USA to knock them out in the semi-finals. Add another bronze medal to the puzzle, all while being the clear-cut best player on those teams. I'd love to see Billups win an olympic gold medal with Scola, Delfino and Nocioni as your top players. :troll:

Ginobili will always be underrated in american eyes because he spent a third of his career overseas so a part of his prime was missed and he's also a victim of Popovich holding players back in the regular season so he didn't get all-star and all-nba consideration as he should've just because Pop manages minutes like no other NBA coach.
Do u know what team USA went through back in 2004? 9 of the best players refused to participate. So the roster ended up having very young players like lebron, melo, wade, okafor, and amare on it coached by a coach who hates playing young players. To make matter worse, the team only practiced for a week!
The "wining gold medal with scola and delfino" shyt is nonsense because u using an nba argument that doesn't translate well in international completions. Talent and skills means less in international settings.

You overrating Manu European career by the way.

Yeah, Ginobili/Spurs enthusiats love to prop up his International career, yet that equated to him barely gettin' drafted. :patrice: Only Dumars and Sabonis have averaged less points, rebounds, and assists than Ginobili, and made the Hall. Out of the hundreds of NBA Hall Of Famers, only 14 have made it w/o any 1st or 2nd All-NBA selections, and only six HOF's w/ 2 or less All-Star appearances. Peja Stojakovic has won a championship, been an All-Star, an All-NBA team member, has 2 gold medals and 1 bronze, yet isn't in consideration for the Hall, Spencer Haywood's NBA and Int. Career crap all over Ginobili's 4x fold, yet he's not in :ohhh: and Jerry Stackhouse has better numbers than Ginobili. :yeshrug: He hasn't accomplished nearly enough to even be considered objectively, and it's a travesty when people say he's HOF bound, let alone 1st ballot, but he will make it regardless, just further waterin' down the standards for qualification :snoop:

Watch this vid if you have any doubts. Look at all the huge plays he makes in HUGE games. From Shaq's Lakers to OKC dude has been doing this. You don't see average or even very good players doing the things he's doing on here

I love that Bibby outburst in the playoffs but that wasn't nearly as long as Ginobli was doing it. From scoring on Shaq's to scoring on Durant

John Starks and Richard Hamilton's playoff careers are right there w/ Chuck's fav player, yet they're not gettin' in the Hall :yeshrug:
