I’ve always read that the middle class is shrinking

sometimes I ignore posts that seem totally absurd rather than waste time looking to pick it apart...I don’t do the back and forth thing or look to argue every point once I’ve made my larger point
It depends on when you measure it. Over the last two decades or so, middle class has decreased while upper class has increased, but over a larger period, middle class has grown. I mention this to prove that the economic “pie” is not a fixed quantum, otherwise GDP would have stayed the same for years and everyone, rich, middle class and poor would be worse off because wages would be stagnant and so would home values and stocks. You could make an argument that middle class income has stagnated, but aside from the housing crisis in 2008, clearly you can’t make that argument for assets. Asset values have recovered and the data I showed you proves that whites have significantly greater access to ownership of assets than blacks.
Therefore, all a white needs to do is get an average job, flip their money into homeownership and stocks, and they will rise out of poverty, whereas blacks can’t even get a job in the first place.
