if those white people choose to be lazy and not put in extra hours in their entry level jobs that Black people don’t have access to in the first place, and choose not to read up on investing and take advantage of asset prices that have outpaced the inflation rate over the last 40 years, then yes, poor white people choose to be poor. I never said rich, I just said not poor. And the rich would benefit from a rising middle and upper class because that means more people who can afford to buy the products their businesses produce.

Complete and total bullshyt. Can’t believe that you typed this up - whites are targeted in elementary school like black boys are bc white teachers can’t “relate “ to them? Black girls aren’t viewed as looking “older and fast” for their physical development? White students aren’t receiving preferential treatment in college applications? PLUS loans weren’t changed to include a credit worthiness factor to affect black students receiving financial aid in undergrad?? Black colleges are given endowments like those of PWIs?? They are mass incarcerated and given disparate treatment in the judicial system? They are not prevented from receiving small business loans? Silicon Valley is not 90% white for a reason?? Law Firms only have 2 black partners per 100 of their white colleagues with the same credentials?? Black start ups are receiving financial backing like those of their white counterparts despite having viable business plans?

2. If you're a white man and you fail in a country founded by people like you, for people like you, maintained BY people like you at every one of the highest echelons of political and economic power.

Then you have no excuse to fall back on except maybe if you were severely mentally damaged or severely crippled by disability. If you cannot make it in a country that prioritizes you, then you cannot make it anywhere.

Depends on the business. If it’s some predatory payday company, sure, but Apple isn’t getting rich if no one can afford iPhones. Louis Vuitton isn’t making money if no one can afford handbags. Cisco isn’t generating sales if their clients aren’t making money because everyone is too broke to purchase goods and services from them. The more money the average worker makes, the better off companies are and subsequently the rich are, all things being equal.

One thing that kills me is when Euro-CACs say “my father came to this country with 10 dollars in his pocket and made it. There’s no excuse.” I always shut that shyt down promptly. They like to ignore the low interest loans/mortgages that these CACs were given to get on property ladder that Black people were denied. We can talk about blockbusting, gerrymandering in local elections, the allocation of resources, education etc. But when you bring it up, CACs like to ignore they’ve always been given a head start.

Again all of this assumes that capitalism creates a fixed pie, which is empirically false, otherwise the GDP would stay the same year after year and no one, rich included, would make any money. This is a ridiculous argument.
