Why would anybody choose to be poor? :mjlol:
Because they are lazy and don’t want to put in the work to rise from poverty. Working hard is a choice. The avenues available to whites to rise to the middle class aren’t as numerous for Black people.

All a white person needs to do to not be poor is cop an average job out of high school, not have children until they are married and have an employed partner, save and invest. It’s fukking simple and if white people fail to achieve this, it’s because of their own agency. They didn’t want it hard enough and are content being poor.

Strawman argument. I said not poor, I didn’t say not rich.
Do you know the income breakdown of this country? You dont have to be a millionaire to be in the 1%. Even middle class is not a huge portion of the overall country, let alone the white percentage of it. (Most of it is still white tho)

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Black motherfukkers can have Ivy League degrees, interview for a job and still get rejected over a white candidate with less experience and a shytty college degree because of “cultural” reasons.

aside from white collar jobs, a white man with just a HS education and get put on with a union and get mentored by a white man who takes a liking to him because the mentee reminds him of his son. Then that white man can stack money, invest in real estate and launch his own blue collar business. How many black people do you see having opportunities like these ?

I think being white and poor is one of the most pathetic life outcomes there is. Poor white people choose to be poor out of laziness and lack of creativity. There are social factors in place that make it so much easier for whites to rise above poverty versus poor black people.

Yes black people face that but you still can’t quit and have to keep applying.

I believe every single person except disabled and mentally ill people no matter the color can escape poverty if they want to.

Poverty is a mindset. For example many Native Americans who want to escape poverty just simply move away from the reservations while those who don’t want stay in their reservations impoverished.

White supremacist talking points being applied to poor whites. Lol.

Rich white supremacists think the same way of poor whites. They just tell them it's because of blacks and immigrants in public tho.

The idea that poor people are lazy and should pull up their bootstraps is just Reaganite rhetoric. It’s just not the case. Middle-class has been gutted over the last half century, not to mention multiple recessions, outsourcing of the job market, automation of jobs etc. And as someone already mentioned, one of the main tactics of politicians and the ruling class is to keep people poor in order to make them fight against each other for limited resources, while they pocket all the money.
