Gabrielle Union plays a character who sleeps with a married man and another dude who sees other women ..yet she blames the men for her bad choices

Only reason it's perceived as CLASSY is because the character is Beautiful and has MONEY

Watching that BS "reality" tv... unprogram yourself. Condoning negative stereotypes that's one part of tv that I don't even go past. I don't even know what channels are Viacom channels...I stopped with MTV, Bet, etc when they stopped showing music and videos. Back in the day, there was so much decent programming on MTV and Bet...Vh1 was the soft rock channel smh

Why VH1 Gets to Be Black Without the Burden

I’ve always wondered why VH1 got the pass that BET could not (even though what VH1 is showing is what black people, seemingly, want to watch). Is it because VH1 was never originally a black-owned network and never promised to be anything greater than what it was? VH1, after all, isn’t concerned with offsetting its more raucous programing with a gospel hour on Sundays. It’s not broadcasting a news special on Trayvon Martin, as BET did. VH1 manages to program and win with a black audience without ever feeling the least bit beholden to it. It’s the definition of irony.
