Im sorry to hear that breh. regardless if people or i think you were kind of wrong. its never good to hear when another person loses his job. im losing mine on friday but not because of anything like that but i still feel for you breh. luckily you have enough saved up i only have enough for the next few months but its all good

i work in hr related fields, so i see alot of hiring and firing going down... most of the times, employers have been ready to terminate someone for a long time, but there isn't a concrete reason to..and legally they cant pull the trigger unless there is just cause.. so when cats start talkin reckless, it gives employers the ability to fire them under any type of 'company policy'... because there is evidence now
just a few days ago, we had this loud mouth dude who i know they've been waiting to let go for months.. but since his performance was good they couldnt do anything.. the second they got wind that he was talkin sh!t about upper management, they let him go because of 'improper conduct'..basically he didn't inform his direct manager about his frustrations.. sh!t was a soft reason to fire dude but hey, they finally had one..
so moral of this story, yall nikkas need to keep it on the qt when you pissed off and do not rock the boat..unless you really just dont give a fucc and like being unemployed..

Breh, let me tell you something...as a black man who has worked his way up from IT helpdesk to IT manager / project management...DO NOT EVER TRUST ANOTHER BLACK MAN AT WORK...ESPECIALLY AN OLDER BLACK MAN...or what I call O.B.B.M (Old Bitter Black Man).
There are a lot of reason for this:
1. O.B.B.M has been working there for a minute...O.B.B.M was probably one of the first...if not the first black...working in that office period...O.B.B.M has probably been called a ****** to his face or at the very least in passing (I've had several O.B.B.M's try to drive a wedge between myself and a white co-work by saying stuff like "if you'd met him in 1996 you wouldn't have liked him. If you heard him say some of the stuff I did back in 92 you wouldn't be talking to him" Then you come in as the new cool black guy...and at least at all the places i work...all the white people pretend to like the cool new young black guy...it is almost like the pc thing to do...like I've seen white people cop an attitude with each other like "you haven't gone to talk to the cool new black guy yet"...at my current job...when i first stated...crazy how many white people just come up out of nowhere with theface when they see me...saying stuff like "you ever have any problems with anyone here you come and talk to me
" So O.B.B.M has to watch all the white people in the office give you attention... which brings us to number 2.
2. O.B.B.M is gonna be jealous of you now...because you are now a voice in the black community...O.B.B.M used to be the voice of black reason to all the white people...O.B.B.M used to get to chime in on anything that was happening in the black community...or if white people took an interest in anything that was labeled as "black" O.B.B.M was the go to guy...now it's you...now they come to you asking about LIL Wayne...now they come to you asking about Rick Ross "Hold me back" ( white dude was talking to me and did the ross head shake and "woop" noise last week)...Now white people want to know what is going on on your cell phone...what is going on on your Ipod...
Avoid O.B.B.M at all cost...straight up I have seen this play out at plenty of jobs...hell at my first two I almost fell victim to it myself....
O.B.B.M: Man David gets on my nerves...he never pulls his weight...I mean...I know he has kids...but that doesn't give him the right to make excuses? You know what I'm saying...keep that between us though...it's good to finally have someone to talk to
Young black man: Yeah I know what you mean. He dumped some work on me last week because he had to go to his son's soccer practice
O.B.B.M: See that's not right. You got a life to. We all got a life. Then if you try to ask him to do something he always got something to do

Next day:
O.B.B.M: Hey David did you finish that...oh wait, you gave it to young black man...I will ask him about it...
David: Wait? What?
O.B.B.M: Oh yeah...he was telling me how you gave him some of your work. He was saying it wasn't fair to him and...I was trying to tell him you had kids and stuff...but oh well don't worry I don't think he meant anything by it...you know he is new here so...don't worry I will talk to young black man about it

I did some similar shyt. My boss was on some bullshyt. I went to another one of our sites where my boss' boss happened to be in town. He came and found me and asked me out to dinner. I aired my boss out to him. He said he was going to make a special trip in town and have a sit down with us. During the sit down I called my boss a fukking snake that nobody trusts. Called him an idiot that fukks up every project he gets involved in.
Of course nothing came of it. But after I thought about it later I realized how much my boss could fukk with my career but it appears he hasn't or either he couldn't do shyt to me yet. On the flip side though he has fukked over a close friend of mine by denying him a promotion. I think in large part due to his association with me.
