Additionally, a lot of coups are led by outside forces so that would also have to be something legitimately taking root in the states.

First off the fbi monitors sites lile this, not the cia. Second , it would take a guerrilla effort in urban centers.... and a take over of the media. Also, the morale would need to be lower and fear of the population would need to be higher.

People have organized through popular resistance and have achieved major change in the past, so I don't see why it couldn't be done today. The reason why the ruling class tries so hard to divide the people and break down solidarity is because they know how powerful popular opinion can be when it comes down to it. Even a dictator like Hitler was very concerned about his population possibly turning on him.

Plus, there are a lot of initiatives that are supported by the majority of Americans that could be achieved with enough organization (universal healthcare, minimum wage increase, free education etc.), and would be if we lived in a functioning democratic state.

Realistically what would it take? We’ve often seen protesters in front of the white house picketing the fence but none of them is stupid enough to break down the gates and get their head blown off by the fbi

. As a Democracy we are suppose to be allowed to change our government but I don’t see the CIA/FBI letting that happen. I just want to know is it possible and what would it take.
