Naw, console market is maxed out.
The current players are struggling to maintain their audience with PC/Cloud/mobile eating into their customer base.
Sega would have to squeeze people from Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft, and that just doesn’t seem possible anymore.
Lots of money has been spent by some very rich and powerful corporations trying to get into the console market and they all came to the same conclusion, that it would be a waste of money for a limited upside.
With that said i think sega has enough games and quality IP to offer a subscription/streaming service that would be very successful. Especially if they can get some genesis/saturn/dreamcast classic that were not necessarily owned by sega
