I don't know about ASAP Rocky. I know ASAP Yams was a dipset message board troll/goofball in the 2000s, like another Yauze. From how he acted and looked he seemed like a Complex writer type trying to live like his favorite rappers songs.

So just cause you're a fan don't mean you know what you're talking about. ASAP Yams and Rocky employed and put a lot of dudes on who are always thanking Rocky for what he's done for them in terms of being able to eat.
ASAP weed carriers don't even got tapes out but they can play shows just because the brand that Rocky & Yams built. Ferg had no mixtape or nothing just a handful or so of songs prior to Trap Lord and his album clocked out at around 100k and sold decently considering everyone said only Rocky would do shyt.
ASAP have collabed with Bape, Young&Reckless, Adidas etc and that's because those brands know they tapped into and have had influence in terms of fashion. Palace has blown up outside being just a skate brand or brand known in Europe and once Rocky and then many other rappers and artists like Jay Z, Rihanna, Drake etc started wearing it they got a collab with Adidas..
How's that not huge impact?

The thing about how Rocky & ASAP & Ian and their look and how all them dress is their look is more affordable than Kanyes shyt. You can buy a bootleg "vintage" rap t , a single piece and some adidas or whateve for a lot cheaper than you can a pair of Yeezys, or adidas joggers obviously. Or pretty much anything Kanye wears or sells. Not to mention Its the bigger hype because his shyt is limited or sells our quick which seem to make people want it more.
