After the initial Reality Files was censored from the airwaves, the Reality Files has commissioned another case to bring the truth to the masses.

Today's case, The playoff mediocrity of Peyton Manning. Let us begin children.

- First and foremost, his playoff record. This will be further backed by other stats. Peyton is 9-11 in the playoffs. Joe Flacco tops Peyton's wins total in just 5 years of experience, compared to Peyton's 15

- Peyton Manning only has 1 game winning drive in his 20 playoff games. Players with more game winning drives are Mark Sanchez, Matt Hasselback, Jeff Garcia, Jeff Hostetler and Stan Humphries. This number is much worse when you consider how many more games Peyton had compared to those players.

- Peyton doesn't even crack the top 50 in Passing TD %.

- He only has 1 comeback in 20 playoff games. Montana has 5, Eli 4 and Brady 4.

- Peyton has a career QB rating of 96, but when the playoffs come it drops down 8 points to 88. Montana on the other hand, had a career QB rating of 92, but in the playoffs he raised it 3 points to 95.

- Peyton Manning's big Super Bowl win came against possibly the worst Super Bowl QB ever Rex Grossman. When he got back, he iced the Super Bowl for the Saints by throwing a pick 6

Reality Files case has been presented for the people!

Fueling what? He is a mediocre playoff QB.

I`m not a big fan of his, but I also like to have some dialogue. It's good to spruce things up a bit, see if someone has an argument against it.

Also, why not have some actually discussion, maybe we could just do more threads about athletes girlfriends and wives on some E! shyt

Is there a breakdown of his playoff defenses vs. other elite QB defenses in the playoffs? Just curious. Because the general argument from the other side is that the Colts had wack Ds and then Denver gave up 38 points and that hail mary.

He'll turn this around in a few months though :win:

the colts D is more responsible for the colts superbowl than peyton. they limited 3 teams to 8, 6 and 17 points. peyton did his thing in the pats game but overall for the run had more picks than tds :smh:

When you make a title like "Reality Files" there is a clear implication that you are saying something that hasn't been said or goes against the popular narrative. That's his actual reputation. :heh: He's known as a guy who fades come playoff time. What's next "Reality Files: MJ is GOAT"? or "Reality Files: McNabb choked in that SB".

I always :laff: whenever people talk about Flacco's playoff wins. 4 of those wins came with him passing for < 200 yds including one game where he passed for 34. And they all came with a great defense. He's 2-1 in the playoffs against Brady. Eli is 2-0. Guess they are better than Brady. :leon:

And Brady's playoff QB rating is actually lower than Mannings and he's had some very Manning like results the last few years. What happened? Did he fall off or has he just not been as fortunate as he was early on.

If you really are interested in reality Peyton has been extremely unfortunate in the playoffs. Great defense, other players stepping up, and flat out luck pretty much go hand and hand with winning in the playoffs and Mr. Manning hasn't had the luxury of any of those things for the most part. Just look at the last two L's. The Jets offense (not exactly the greatest show on turf) went right down the field for the GW FG in the last minute after Peyton's reciever dropped a pass that ices the game. Last year we saw probably the worst defensive lapse late in a game ever. However I know it's more fun to put it all on him as if it's not pretty much :deadhorse: at this point so :manny: carry on.
