It's like, life is uphill battle from the day youre born.

You learn, pursue new things, graduate from K, to 5th, to 8th to high school, seek that summer job, seek that college acceptance letter, seek that internship, and eventually graduate and seek that job.

Once you get that job, you hit a wall, and think like :ohhh:

I did everything I planned. I accomplished my goals. Now what? Climb the corporate ladder? :rudy:

That's where I'm at brehs. what's next? marriage and children? :childplease:

that cookie cutter life path is bullshyt forreal..just thinking about it makes me :merchant:

I'm bout to move to NY and get a random gig and just live life out this bytch

got fam on deck so we in there, no high rent :russ:

If you accept it as reality then thats what it always will be to you. Most people do work their whole lives and retire around 60 but a few dont.:ninja1:

I'm going thru a phase now, tryna figure out how i can work less during the day and still make enough money.

MY cousin is a Probation officer for juveniles, so he works like 9-1 or 10-2 and gets paid for it.

And its kind of fulfilling, helping the youth, possibly.

Im thinking about doing that soon, seriously.

I need more freetime to live life, fukk this shyt

probation officer? wouldn't you have to deal with a lot of fukked up kids from broken homes and mental issues? if you have trouble dealing with a 9-5, you're gonna have lots of trouble dealing with these kids. but good luck to you.

Thats good breh, financial freedom is the only way and only you know how much you need to be financially free from labor. Everyone doesn't have to be a slave but most will and thats the way it has to be. If everyone was financially free from labor then what would get done?

one alternative is to live a frugal life and invest money wisely. you could accumulate enough wealth in a few decades to retire early.

It's a tough realization when you are living that young, wild, and free lifestyle. I missed my schedule from my college days, when going to class was like my job. So what can I do to get a schedule like that as a career? Teach college. I have the education and experience to land a gig at a community college, and I plan to go get my phd in a few years. Sure I will have to work a few extra hours a day grading, creating lesson plans, and having office hours, but I know I can handle that.
