Oh really? Who's good then, ima check them out.All trash
The problem is Kendrick took off like a rocket which kinda messed it up for the rest of thoseAt one point in time it looked like they were.
Kendrick
Schoolboy Q
Jay Rock
Ab-Soul
SZA
They all have (had) star power. Now Kendrick is gone, Schoolboy Q doesn't releae music, Jay Rock never really took off, and Ab-Soul gave the fukk up. SZA the only thing popping over there right now.
Idk how Kendrick taking off hurt the others more than it helped. The other dudes got looks they probably would not have gotten if not for Kendricks success. The problem is Kendrick took off like a rocket which kinda messed it up for the rest of those
Artists. SZA came up a couple years later obviously. I personally like Schoolboys music as much if not more than Kendrick’s, he should’ve been the one carrying the torch when Kendrick left.. well we see what’s happening now that Kendrick left to do his own thing. SZA carrying the torch. That phone call was pretty sad man. Drop that man so he can do his own thing.
Wait what's the story to this?TDE refusing to allow JID to sample Hii Power was just as eyebrow raising
This is not the case. Schoolboy wasn’t as popping as Kendrick, but he went platinum twice. After the bad reaction to Crash Talk, he just went away. Ab-Soul just never released anything. That’s nobody but his fault. Jay Rock not blowing up is understandable. But TDE had 3 stars on the roster. The problem is Kendrick took off like a rocket which kinda messed it up for the rest of those
