We've been need to abolish that shyt... Whatever happened to one person one vote... :mindblown:
first time I heard about the Electoral College I was like:dahell: I had to research to make sure I wasn't hearing the wrong thing. Maybe it's easier because of the size of the population but we don't have anything like that here, the regular people actually vote in whichever party comes into power.

Because the entire system is bullshyt... :francis:

Electoral college serves a pretty good check on allowing high population states to bully the process.
On top of that, it reinforces the concept of states and their original purpose, probably hard to recognize now since so many don't look at the US as a collection of different states anymore.

No such thing as "not voting." You don't vote and you voted for whoever won :sas2:
Nah you don't vote you didn't vote.
Those who voted for who won voted for who won, those who voted for who lost voted for who lost.
That said those who play the rigged game are the blame for all the shyt that happens, not those of use that refuse to participate.

AND THAT'S WHY IT NEEDS TO GO.... :camby: things have changed it shouldn't be points allocated to your party if you win that state it should be one person / one vote. Period. The EC seems to streamline it but it's seriously flawed.

its a way for them to manipulate it

this isnt the fukkin 1700s where motherfukkers are riding on horses to deliver the news of who their state voted for. but not only that, theres that obvious aspect of control to make sure the 'right' people get elected

the presidential election should be a popular vote, nationwide. then your vote actually WOULD matter

It is one person one vote, so you are yelling for something that already exists.
