there are many variations but the sort of scary, mainstream propaganda one seems to involve government running every single business, complete authoritarian control of everyone life by the government (even though this is not an economic issue but a civil liberties one so its strange to me but american propaganda for you), everyone making the exact same dollar amount of money, no private property at all, etc which some of wasnt even true in soviet russia which would be these peoples worst case scenario.
the general principle I think is having a more democratic say in the workplace, giving the people more power and wealth than just one guy at the top siphoning everything to himself or a small group of people. basically eliminating the exploitative relationship between employee and employer that is seen as the latest version of master/slave or lord/serf. someone like lennin, and other bros correct me if im wrong, thought you would transition first having the state take over. but looking at the relationship of russia, people have called it state capitalism since it still maintained the heirarchy and workers just worked for the state instead of a private employer but didnt really gain much themselves. but basically its about giving the masses more power but america acts like if you just give someone socialized medicine let alone changing the system, that youre suddenly going to lose all civil liberties and the state is going to start running all business that make consumer items and shyt. its just so much propoganda involved. its not a coherent theory to act like, oh when we try to make things more fair it leads to death. where the logical progression in that ? that stupid black book of communism counts russia killing naizis as like deaths attributed to communism its a joke. but all the imperialism by capitalist nations is not counted towards some capitalistic body count
