there are many variations but the sort of scary, mainstream propaganda one seems to involve government running every single business, complete authoritarian control of everyone life by the government (even though this is not an economic issue but a civil liberties one so its strange to me but american propaganda for you), everyone making the exact same dollar amount of money, no private property at all, etc which some of wasnt even true in soviet russia which would be these peoples worst case scenario.

the general principle I think is having a more democratic say in the workplace, giving the people more power and wealth than just one guy at the top siphoning everything to himself or a small group of people. basically eliminating the exploitative relationship between employee and employer that is seen as the latest version of master/slave or lord/serf. someone like lennin, and other bros correct me if im wrong, thought you would transition first having the state take over. but looking at the relationship of russia, people have called it state capitalism since it still maintained the heirarchy and workers just worked for the state instead of a private employer but didnt really gain much themselves. but basically its about giving the masses more power but america acts like if you just give someone socialized medicine let alone changing the system, that youre suddenly going to lose all civil liberties and the state is going to start running all business that make consumer items and shyt. its just so much propoganda involved. its not a coherent theory to act like, oh when we try to make things more fair it leads to death. where the logical progression in that ? that stupid black book of communism counts russia killing naizis as like deaths attributed to communism its a joke. but all the imperialism by capitalist nations is not counted towards some capitalistic body count
what you said in a nutshell.

as a little kid, i'm talking like 8 years old i was luckily taught about some forms of democracy/capitalism, communism, socialism. i just had this teacher that was gung ho about pushing info on to little kids so they have options in life. We had a substitute teacher come in during my real teachers presentation of all of these different types of governing/economics, etc. So the sub was supposed to keep it going for a day until he got back.
This lady hands out a paper and asks us, "So guys, which type would you choose for your country if you could?"

90% of the class chose exactly what america has now. why? thats what we've all been taught and lets be honest, most people dont have imaginations like that or if they do their not cultivated enough by society, teachers, and their parents. cant blame these kids. my household was a bit different on that front. had a house full of thinkers. lucky me. had a thinking teacher, lucky me. all in the hood. lucky me.

so she comes around to me, and my answer was I want democratic capitalism, socialism, communism in my country. The look on her face was priceless. i still can see it now. she then says "no no no, you can't have all of that"
i said, "why not? i think there are good things about all of them and bad things about all of them. take out the bad and keep the good in them all.

She wasnt having it "no no no, you dont want to have socialism & communism, thats russia and cuba..." she then grades my little paper with my answer and gives me a B-. Now i was one of the few who had a thought out answer and i probably got the lowest grade. why? because even that grown up teacher has been brainwashed in america to think that way. i , the child had more room in my brain to wonder if we could some how incorporate the good from all of them.

This is what proffesor wolf is talking about. the conversation is killed the moment you're taught about this stuff and then its shut out completely. so no one debating him will be well versed in the stuff he's well versed in, because they came up thru the school of same same like everyone else. only a select few would be willing to force study about other avenues to the fullest like he has. if you believe in one way you wont go that far to find an alternative. you will just keep doing what everyone else does.

lol at libertarians. mr and mrs let the markets decide.

i've said it many times on here. that works to some degree. but people dont realize how crazy that sounds in reality.

Lets make a simple example. lets say Dove makes shower gel, and so does Company B. Lets say the Dove prices is $2.00 cheaper than company B's. and dove is all you see in most stores, to get company B's shower gell, you will have to go to whole foods or bristol farms..uppity stores(lol).

lets say we find out that Dove has a little hint of poison in it that is burning people's skin. if you're truly all in lib..you wont want regulation from the govvy telling you that your soap has some poison in it. LET THE MARKET decide. meaning allow people to say i will no longer buy Dove because its poisonous.

here's the problem with that in 2019. we know better now. if you let the market decide. people will have to be harmed first before the word hits the street that this is poisonous. why harm millions or 100's of thousands of people when you could just let the gov regulate it and test it first?

In addition, Dove is such a large company, they have sway with the grocery stores. which is why they get top placement and pretty much all placement at most stores. guess who doesnt have a whole foods or gelsons or bristol farm in their neighborhood? poor people.
Now the let the markets decide are lowkey discriminating vs poor people (people of color since we know they are among the highest percentage of the poor based on their races).

lastly, the markets cant be allowed to decide because DOVE has rigged the system. so that the regular joe doesnt see the other option often enough or side by side. in addition, dove has lobbied congress to make sure no more newcomers come into the market space and they basically are looking at buying out Company B. they told them "take this offer for a buy out or we will do more lobbying and work with more stores to make sure you never see the light of day with your shower gel. company b only has one choice as the much smaller company. to sale. now where is the market now? only DOVE is being sold. oh and they sell Company B under their original name. read the fine print or google them to find out its Dove slanging them too.

^^^this is why Liberation stuff wont work in today's society. That method of let the markets decide would work 100% perfectly in a 100% moral world/country. If we could trust our fellowman not to give us poison to make a buck, if we could trust him not to price gauge, if we could trust him not to make shady deals to squash competition, etc, etc, etc. then and only then will that idea work. outside of that garden of eden scenario. its not going to work out well for most of us.
