I read the Hunger Games trilogy last summer. Right now, I'm reading the Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan and the second book in the Beautiful Creatures books (its actually dope :ehh: but, then again, i like fantasy/action/supernatural type books :yeshrug:)

I wanna try Glen Duncan's other book....."I, Lucifer" but, I'm a lil :merchant:

Apparently, some dude commits suicide after his failed writing career and God gives Lucifer 30 days to live as a human in that dude's body, and if he passes God's test then, he'll be allowed to re-enter heaven. Im still on the fence about whether or not I want to read a book from the Devil's perspective :merchant:

Robopocalypse is another one I'mma read

In the future, small groups of survivors find ways to survive without modern technology in an increasingly robot-reliant society after a computer scientist accidentally unleashes a supremely intelligent sentient A.I. named Archos. Archos becomes self-aware and immediately starts planning the decimation of human civilization in an attempt to preserve Earth's biodiversity :ohhh:

Recommend some books to me brehs :smugfavre:

I'm sure you've already heard about them but the George RR Martin song of ice and fire books(game of thrones series) are great and a real easy read

eh, I'm not into reading fiction

if I'm going to take my time out to read something I'd rather it be historical, science related, or philosophy or summin.

If I want fiction I'll watch a movie

If you have an interest in High Fantasy I can recommend Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time series, my all time favorite fantasy series. It's 13 books long though so its a bit of a dedication but its straight piffery for Fantasy buffs

The Firs Law series by Joe Abercrombie
the-first-law-trilogy.jpg

I just finished reading the first two of these. Decided to read them after so many A Song of Ice and Fire fans hyped it. So far I think the story is not as complex or deep as GRRMs ASOIAF, the books are somewhat short and the world building is kind of wack but The First Law compensates by being just as gritty and brutal with awesome action and very interesting characters. I like the fact that black people exist and one of them is a main character which I find rare when it comes to the Fantasy genre.

these are written by a christian writer named Ted Dekker but they are pretty cool. there's no overt christian bullshyt in them, it's kind of like The Matrix
