I wasn't feeling the second book too much. The author has a tendency to go overboard with details. I think I know what kinda coffee every person in the book likes by now.

And what the hell do I care about Lisbeth finding out some math problem that has nothing to do with the story :shaq2:

I also don't care for what the author did to Salander's character. bytch became superwoman. Can take down bikers, solve ridiculous math problems, she's rich as fukk, can take bullets to the head. Give me a break :shaq2:

I appreciated the extra details in most instances but at times it did cause the book to drag. Also, Blomkist was out there putting in work. So much that even Batman would have to stop and salute.

And speaking to that Lisbeth superwoman theme, you forgot how she went into a category infinity hurricane to save her chocolate lover and that one broad from her crazy husband.

I love reading but four books in a month? :whew: Lavar Burton would be proud.

Sent from a Super Samsung 3 via Master Roshi's Island.

I love reading. When you're actually interested in a book, its an easy read. Before I knew it, I flew through an entire book series in 3 and a half weeks :whoo:

Copped 'Game of Thrones' from B&N a few days ago :youngsabo:

if you're familiar with the story of jesus christ..

The birth of Jesus has been well chronicled, as have his glorious teachings, acts, and divine sacrifice after his thirtieth birthday. But no one knows about the early life of the Son of God, the missing years -- except Biff, the Messiah's best bud, who has been resurrected to tell the story in the divinely hilarious yet heartfelt work "reminiscent of Vonnegut and Douglas Adams" (Philadelphia Inquirer).

Verily, the story Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healings, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes. Even the considerable wiles and devotion of the Savior's pal may not be enough to divert Joshua from his tragic destiny. But there's no one who loves Josh more -- except maybe "Maggie," Mary of Magdala -- and Biff isn't about to let his extraordinary pal suffer and ascend without a fight.
