I don't work fast food. It's an easy number to illustrate a point.

The majority of fast food places out here don’t even the foot traffic in their restaurant like that to justify the costs of automaton. That’s the most important aspect that I think that people are missing when they bring up automation.

Automation isn’t feasible everywhere. In some stores or places, the cost of automation doesn’t justify the investment. It works for a grocery store, but not a mom and pop or franchise food place that doesn’t have the foot traffic like that.

If just broke down the justifications 2 posts ago. Your reply makes no sense. The move will save them millions.

Word I'm already trying to think about hitting 100k, but I also gotta relax a bit and stop overcompensating and realize I'm doing fine:yeshrug:
Nah.. the grind never stops as long as you reside in this country.

Just the fact that everything you’ve worked for and your current lifestyle can come to an abrupt end for a plethora of reasons, none of which need be your fault, means it’s grind all day every day with somewhat of an off season to recoup mentally.

#certgang knows this.

The endgame is acquire enough capital to make it work for you by pivoting into other avenues and/or investments. Still, everyone won’t make it there, I feel like consulting work for 6-9 months a year with 3 months to do whatever you want is a good compromise.

Acquire in-demand skills and you’ll forever have leverage in this game. It’s not an easy task by any means, but you get out what you put in.

Being able to walk away from an employer at anytime and your next move isn’t scrambling to find a new job, but what country you’re gonna chill in for the next few weeks to unwind while turning down recruiters with peasant offers is :ahh:

The justification you used is flawed as the average restaurant doesn't have 30 employees on hand nor do any of them bring home even close to $500 a week. The majority of restaurants just don't have the bread or foot traffic like that to justify the cost of automation.

Your example would work more for a factory then it would for a restaurant, which is where you're mainly seeing the automation transition take place.

You clearly are completely uneducated about this subject.

The average McDonald's employees 25 to 50 people.

The hourly wage is anywhere from $11 to $17. Minimum wage in the county I live is $15 an hour.

The average McDonald's generates $2.7 million dollars annually.

Bottom line is if you can't afford to pay people a decent and livable wage you shouldn't be in business.

That's where YOU live and doesn't speak for the rest of the country.

The amount of money that a McDonald's generates means nothing when they have costs and expenses outside of wages to pay especially in the restaurant industry where margins are razor thin and you're wasting money on food daily.

I got my start in shytty call center work too, I know your struggle. Find the best paycheck you can until something better comes along. I’ve had over 20 jobs in my life and an unstable career until about 5 years ago when things started clicking for me.

There is no lack of jobs available and some people are just ready for a break. Stored those stimulus checks away and decided to go on vacation for a while.

how much of your stimulus check you got left lol. Whole nation of People living hand and mouth but magically they're able to save checks from months and months ago :laff:

Bullshyt sir

i saved just about ALL of my stimulus and one and a half years of unemployment.
other than rent, bills, groceries and some creature comforts for the crib it all went in the bank.
went away for a weekend at Lake Placid in the winter and to the Rockaways in the summer.
didn't break the bank with some lavish getaway, fukk getting on a plane. we just drove.
luckily she has a great job so we aren't hurting financially, we are actually doing better than
we ever have. not to say we are wealthy but we don't have to worry about rent or nothing.
we have been there before and it is not fun.

Following dreams is at an all time high right now :blessed:

i'm starting welding classes in january and i'm really excited about it.
from what i understand there has been a shortage in welders well before covid came around, even more so now.
besides the excellent pay and being able to essentially write my own check, the idea of solitary work appeals to me.
travel would also probably be a part of the job and having work pay for travel is the shyt.
could also use this new skill to create sculptures on my free time.

“When that unemployment over folks gonna go back” knew that wasn’t gonna happen… shyt gonna get real dark. They should’ve just paid them folks to the end of the year honestly… they called folks bluff and they lost. Pay Mafukkas more

Germany just now started talking about cutting off pandemic payments to the unvaxxed. they have been paying people to stay home this ENTIRE TIME!

Time for you vaxxed millennials to take your rightful place as working class slaves

:blessed:

@Orbital-Fetus time to stop living off stimulus checks and put all that vaccination to good use clown.

you get one bar.

:unimpressed:
