This (the bolded) is why I moved the fukk out of Pittsburgh. Besides the fact that it's behind the times, social dynamics are absolutely terrible. I'm really convinced women (even black women...sadly) do not give brothers any play there.
Meanwhile, here in NYC, it seems every other decent black man got some exotic arm candy. But...keep in mind, this city is home to some of the pickiest women in the world.
I went through it though...some of y'all dudes on here are lucky mane Seems like alot of y'all had NO trouble with women at all. Whereas, I grew up in predominantly white area and went through 15 plus years of proverbial hell just being known in Pittsburgh as "that black guy who wears glasses..." and that really hurt me with women from High school into my mid 20s. I had to get over it...mainly cause I grew up in the 90s and people called me urkel.
Yeah, I feel where you're coming from. My comments might of been met with some questions and backlash..but I've studied pick-up too. If a woman isn't feeling me, I'll know first hand. I dress well, have a unique personality, have intelligence, culture, foresight, etc...women in general respect that more than being a man that ain't doing anything with his life other than working a job to make ends meet. I don't think women want an "average" man until they have no other options. I personally wouldn't say that non-black women want to be with NBA players or Rappers as the penultimate symbol of black masculinity...they just want someone that can laugh, love, and share life with...like all women.
