Red Flags For People U Call “Friends”

We all know red flags in relationships...but let’s talk about people u deal with longer than most relationships...

This one to me is very important....I’d say a little more than relationships bc who u associate with or befriend can mean life or death sometimes...or dray u down in life.

We all think just cuz we drink & have fun with someone they’re ur friend...when they just tolerate u. Then u wonder why ur so called best friend set u up/smashed ya gf or ex/stole from u etc....

Here’s my list over the years....

Lies all the time...even trivial stuff
Always downing ur accomplishments (that girl u bagged wasnt even cute)
Always taking subtle shots/comments (there go big money man buying something else again)
Always humored at ur expense/ L’s...(haha, u got finessed out that deal)
Doesnt have a car
Raised by a single mother/has too many female tendencies/emotionally reactive
Hot head
Has no passion in life, wants to bum around
Doesnt strive me to do better
Scared to tell me the truth even if it pisses me off
Soft/pushover
Two faced
Gossips alot
Always asking for money
Anytime he gets a gf he dissappears/doesnt have time anymore
Tries to put u down/show off infront of females
Is a simp

With the above I can MAYBE make u an associate....but I’ll never make u an honest friend. I keep squares out my circle.

Females drop ur comments...cuz y’all are worse than dudes it seems. If I was a female I’d have like 1 female friend

I as a female have literally 1 friend red flags for women,

1. a bytch wanting to hear deets on you and your man

2. Gossip (like op said).

3. Only talk about they’re issues.
4. Captain obvious here , has HOE tendencies.

People who have no code in general are a problem. They will do or say whatever as long as it makes them feel good about themselves. They’re easy to fold in a tight situation.

- Lacks empathy: always talking about themselves and their problems but when it comes to you, they minimize your problems and issues . Self centered

-always feels the need to covey their relationship status as if they can’t think for themselves (always need feedback.

-can’t be trusted; telling your business to other people. If other people feel comfortable talking reckless about you to them.
-Boring and repetitive af, delusions of self importance when they haven’t achieved shyt. But think they have a right to control your decisions.
-“give an inch they take a mile”
Type of people - asking for your money or time all the time
-people who talk too much small talk are annoying af. No deep intellectual conversations

- specific reasons for cutting off female associates : tendency to act two faced, too gossipy (drama focused, shallow and transparent -all convos are superficial, constant talk about men or sex, like it’s a competition). Showing off or acting real insecure when I come around their man; they spend money on themselves while their kids look bummy or dusty, bragging about bags but no investment in their lives. Gaming and conning men, then calling you out bc you don’t think like them

This one. shyt infuriates me, I had a goofy bytch tell me she don’t fukk with my “sign” but I’m cool now I treat that bird accordingly

Damn... I don't have any red flags when it comes to friendships. It's instinctual. Either I fukk with you off the get, or I don't. If I don't it's because I "felt" something was off about you the first time I met you. I'm selective about who I choose to be friends with, at the very beginning, so I don't form friendships with you if my instincts feel off about you.

I really haven't been fukked over so far by any friends, or had any real bad experiences with friends either, so my instincts haven't failed me yet. I have about 6 close female friends. I know a lot of women can be grimey, but I just haven't had any of my close girls fukk me over, so I guess I've chose the right group of girls to befriend.
