I think asking this on the Coli is like asking a niche white rock forum to choose between Eminem and JayZ. Everywhere else I look around for this question has this much closer or even skewed to FF favor. Both great bands but ya

Edit: RHCP been together longer and appeal to us a little more in their sound so that’s what we’re seeing in the polls

I loved “the color and the shape” and “Blood sugar sex magic”, but I’ll always prefer “Color and shape”.

I think RHCP has the better singles over the years though.

Dave's the greatest behind the kit (which is why the earlier FF stuff where he's doing everything hit the hardest), but RHCP reach heights Foos can't hit (but only when Frusciante's in the lineup)

[BTW, for the vid I know realistically the drummer probably cue'd up the track after noticing/meeting Chad & had someone record, but it's still dope for him to sit & appreciate someone covering your song.]
