As far as the defence of pedophilia centric "fictional" content, there has been a steady - albeit subtle - march towards loosening the stigma associated with it.
I remember not too long ago reading a Cracked.com article that ever so subtley made the argument that pedophiles were the victims.
By persecuting and ostracizing those afflicted, we're making it worse.
It echoed similar sentiments as the quoted reddit post.
When readers expressed disgust, they shut down the comments.


So what about when someone draws or digitally renders child pornography? That's ... still pretty fukked up, if you ask us. But should it be illegal?

His rationale? It's the apocalypse. He can't get in trouble. Besides, it just a game.
He had a lot of cosigns, and this is on the website of the internets largest retailer.
These people are out here and they're counting down and bidding their time to decriminalize it.
Think of how many high profile cases of pedophiles their are. How many there have been recently.
Senators. Actors. Directors.
It's a billion dollar industry.
The rabbit hole runs a lot deeper than people want to acknowledge.
They're going to be getting these people "help" soon instead of throwing them in prison. The rich are tired of looking over their shoulders and you're witnessing the culmination of what's to come.

I can understand where you are coming from. I won't make that same assumption because I don't know enough about the staff that works at reddit. all racist dumb shyt aside, the site is actually a wealth of information well for me it has. I modified my front page to show only the subreddits I wanted to see and I've never ran into no racist subreddit

These "people" are the worst. But that just goes to show you how we are portrayed by these red-winged bigots. Sucks to realize that some are in privileged positions in the work force and can either terminate employment or persuade firing/hiring :beli: For my brothers/sisters sake, i hope this is NOT the case

Exactly. The motherfukker's entire argument is simply deflection. On some," i know that may be some racist shyt over there, but please look over here!" See as a non-black you can easily ignore racism because it doesn't affect you. Blacks on the other hand don't have that luxury. Us ignoring racism can lead to us being murdered, so no, we can't simply "ignore" racism like you can.

I find this especially hilarious that your so quick to "overlook" the vile racist subreddits, and want everyone to regard reddit as some wort of "welcoming" site for all, yet find the need to call out the petty racist jibes that occur here on occasion, none of which even compare to the vile subreddits on your favorite site.

I suggest you log off here and post on one of the many "non-racist" sub reddits over there on your favorite forum instead of wasting your time here, trying to convince us that your favorite site reddit somehow "isn't racist". Unfortunately for you we have functioning brains, sound reasoning skills, and a whole lot of black skin to make our own conclusions regarding reddit.
