Reddit Finally Bans Racist Subreddits (Edit: Only a few of them.)

Basically they vote up whats the best comment/topic at the time. The 1s at the very bottom are the worst comments or the comments that didnt get many votes or none at all. Its like turning a thread on the coli onto Most Daps but in a sloppier way.

not defending the fukkery,but the individual who is the head of reddit explained it in a letter to the reddit community and the public. they basically said that although the racist subreddits exist, they did what they could to not have it promoted on the front page and that the main reason they allowed those subreddits to exist was because they(those in charge of reddit) felt that by them deleting the subreddits which were racist, it would in essence be them(Reddit) controlling "free speech".
So although I don't agree with that dumb racist shyt, I do understand the reasoning behind allowing them to stay up. also, an ex-head of reddit said that the reddit community should be fearful of when those types of subreddits get shut down because it means that free speech on that site is coming to an end.
Free Speech doesn't equal a golden ticket to just run off at the mouth and disrespecting and hurting people, but free speech is a double edge sword. so we can either have it all the way (which includes the negative) or don't have it at all.

Except that they took down the fat shaming subreddits before the anti-black ones so their explanation is
They'd lose way more ad revenue from the anti black subreddits than the "fat shaming" subreddits.
