LL and his paranoid ass hurting careers for no reason. :aicmon:
Nah, fukk that, it's that type of competitive nature and pettiness that made LL and people like LL great in the first place.

It was Whut Thee Album not Muddy Waters that saved Def Jam. Lol @ Muddy Waters saving it when LL went double platinum and Foxy platinum that same year.

Son I love the fukking Internet. Lyor Cohen is telling them what saved the label and two nikkas that have never even been in a Def Jam office are saying "no that's not true". People are amazing online.
We arguing against the people who ran the label now?

That's not what they said. They specifically said Muddy Waters

"During one period, I signed every bad act there was to sign and that didn't sell anything. The artist that saved me from going under was Redman. The next [significant moment] was when I was being tossed out of Sony, I had this little record called "Regulate" by Warren G that ended up selling 4 million albums and gave PolyGram the confidence in Def Jam. "

So Muddy Waters came out before Regulate :ohhh:

Thats top secret information

I specifically said that it was also stated that Warren Gs album saved def jam 1st.

I then got the co sign.

Its fact when u say something but false when something u dont agree with is proven true.

You want it both ways but life dont work like that.

Who said the Warren G thing was wrong? I heard that too. I didn't dispute it.

I'm saying why are people bringing up LL and Foxy album going platinum. Those aren't the albums Lyor said saved Def Jam, so why debate with the man who ran the company? It's stupid.
