Remember when RG3 didn't want to be lumped in with black QB's? :mjpls:

Dude wasted his athleticism playing football. Could of gotten his Andrew McCutchen on playing baseball. :manny:

Hell
4 wat most turnovers

The most sacks, you know he ain't gonna get rid of the ball fast enough. Chip jelly would run him outta town before he took the field.

I didn't believe there was smoke with this RGIII story until DJAX said he had to address the team because too many players were upset that colt was being benched for griffin. That was the wake up call for me that there a lot of players in that locker room who flat out don't like him. We probably won't get the full story until griffin is no longer with the team.

With griffin, I see a guy who has talent with piss poor mechanics & 0 confidence which equals a recipe for disaster with ANY nfl team.

As life long 'skins fan I find this entire ordeal frustrating. We gave up so much to get him & that set our franchise back & now we won't have anything to really show for it, We went into this season thinking we had 2 starting NFL QB's & turns out we have zero. I guess we will go with some middle of the road of qb & get a new defensive cord along with beefing up the o-line.

Smh I had to sit through Tony banks, todd collins, patrick rasmey, colt brennan, jason campbell, grossman, beck, brunell, mcnabb & now RGIII...

I truly believe this franchise is cursed. I would be all in on the 'skins keeping griffin for one more year to see what happens but I believe that bridge has burned & too many players in the lockeroom don't like him & he(griffin) is probably tired of the media so a breakup may be good. But damn 'skins fans where do we go from here....:to:

Mark rypien, art monk, Gary Clark :mjcry:

Ground and pound with Ernest byner:mjcry:

Ball control and a decent qb that didn't screw up that bad. :feedme:

Rg3, can't defend him. He needs to learn how to read offenses and let go off the damn ball. :scust:

You mean numerous reports leaked by the organization which were crafted to sumbarine his trade value. Get real man, London Fletcher has publicly said he was hard working as recently as last week. Who are we to believe, an organization intent on protecting itself and scapegoating him or one of the great players in NFL and Redskins history who spent a couple years with him behind the scenes and has no reason to lie about it?
why would an organization that gave up sooo much for him want to kill his trade value??
they would only be hurting themselves...not him

how does that make ANY sense....get real?? please bruh....

Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young says he knows the problem with Robert Griffin III: He doesn’t work hard enough.

Young said on the Michael Kay Show that he has spoken with coaches who have worked with Griffin, and those coaches told him that Griffin simply doesn’t spend the long hours studying film that an NFL quarterback needs.

“I’ve talked to his previous coaches, people I really trust and admire, that know quarterbacks. He doesn’t put the time in,” Young said.

Young didn’t mention any of those “previous coaches” by name, but it’s not a leap to infer that he’s referring to Mike Shanahan, who was Washington’s head coach for Griffin’s first two seasons. Shanahan was the 49ers’ offensive coordinator from 1992 to 1994, when Young was having his three best seasons as the 49ers’ starting quarterback. Shanahan and Young have been close for years.

According to Young, it’s the mental side of the game that makes a good quarterback in the NFL, and Young believes that Griffin needs to spend more time developing the mental side of the game during the offseason.

“Success is really about expertise,” Young said. “May, June, July work, and going to school.”

Much like Griffin, Young was once an athletic quarterback who needed time to learn how to be a pocket passer. Young thinks it’s harder for great runners like Griffin to develop as passers because they always assume they can fall back on running if they need to.

“Guys that can use their legs, it’s like they’re not desperate. Guys who can’t use their legs are more desperate so they’ll put more time in,” Young said.

And according to Young, Griffin isn’t putting the time in. That’s what’s holding him back.

Because they are SCAPEGOATING him as the reason for the teams failures. Robert has been presented as the single biggest reason the offense is unable to move the ball and score points consistently. The coaching staff is using him as a sacrificial goat and they don't want him to go somewhere else and tear it up. if they had their way he would be out of the league. Ownership wants to recoup the lost picks but Snyder's power only goes so far else he would still be the starter. I believe upper management want to work things out but the coaching staff want to keep their jobs and are willing to throw Robert to the wolves if the have to.

If Steve Young feels that way then contact him privately instead of in the media. I believe Fletch who was inside the locker room over Young who is a crazy mormon and was outside the locker room and getting second hand information.

bruh, they are NOT sabotaging him. Why can't ppl just take it at face value.

He's an average qb, that relies on his physical talents and hasn't progressed ONE BIT in the throwing game since college.

he's his own worst enemy. When his OWN teammates ain't fukking with him you know there is something wrong.

I'm not sure if you noticed or not but Steve Young IS the media now. he's doing his job by reporting it.

I could careless bruh, stand up for your dude I don't care.

but I don't see the team sabotaging him anymore than him doing it himself.

Yes, no point in continuing this discussion. Time will tell on Griffin either way. He will get one more shot somewhere. It is up to him to make it work. Hopefully he doesn't wind up on the Raiders or some other shyt organization in flux.

Let's keep it real, Robert fuuked it up with the way he acted last offseason. He took shiit too far with the way he tried to flex on Shanny. I can't believe someone didn't say to him "dude chill, your Black asss don't want to get a rep as a coach killer". But his dumb assd thinks he knows everything, and he thinks he's some special Black person, who can get away with certain shiit. Dude is an idiot, who really has no clue, how this world/society really works.

An now he's pretty much burn bridges with most of his teammates.

Dude needs to come down from that perch that he put himself on. And fukking listen to people, who are trying to offer him good advice.

This... But keeping on the field, Robert needs to learn how to play qb in the nfl. He has looked horrible this year. Mechanics are jacked up, his reads are even worse. A change of scenery and some time to learn will do him good.
