But I don't think grant scoring 26 that year was an aboration. I believe he was on an upward arch. Dude was on his way, he was the next Lenny Bruce.but he got hurt. That wasnt his apex.

yep he was def focusing on that more in regards to his game, he was asked to do so. def top billing in the making

im not saying it does personally, but his image/background def played a part in folks thinking he did not have a killer instinct and was soft

This is true. The irony being that Bron had the same rep eventhough he had the exact opposite upbringing.

True indeed. I think that not only he was misdiagnosed when it comes to his ankle in Detroit, he was trying to tough it out to show peeps he had heart. Sad shyt

He had no business playing on that ankle, and it mighta turned out different if he woulda stayed in Detroit cause we got one of the top trainers in the league. Arnie kander has brought a few players back to life.

people were starting to compare hill to jordan and other all time greats when he was at the top of his game. for while there on the pistons he was easily the best small forward in the league.

Hell, Grant tried to get Arnie to come with him to Orlando. That nikka Grant made the teal era tolerable.
