Yeah, Nick Collins had to have fusion done and then be out forever. He was planning to come back but McCarthy said he saw Collins as a son and he would never let his son play after something like that. Packers released him after that and no team touched him.

Atleast with Collins, he signed a 4 year extension in 2010 and got good money upfront. Won the Super Bowl before, had a pick 6 in it too, and had gone to the pro bowl. He had done just about everything in a 6 year career.

But with Finley, he's a couple years younger AND is a free agent this spring...I hope it is all precautionary and he's able to play football again. By all accounts, he's going to be fine personal wise and will be able to do all of his normal activities, he had movement everywhere.
