Only thing in Duren's bag offensively is he's a good passer out of the short roll and is a lob threat. Duren is not worth potentially 30million a year with such a limited offensive game and negative defensive impact.

Duren's a decent talent but he has a lot of hangups as a big which restrict him from having any notable impact. He can't stay out of foul trouble, he has difficulties defending the PnR, he can't defend in space and his effort and awareness fades in and out from game-to-game. Chet has none of those issues.

The value that Chet provides is a much rarer commodity because of the pace-space of today's game.

Those players are hard to replace.

And Duren damn sure ain't filling that void.
