love is a fleeting emotion its not even the foundation of say a successful marriage anymore. With you and your friend all you see is perception its like logging onto facebook and seeing a smiling photo with teh family, but you know dude is cheating on his wife, or his wife hates him, people give off the aura you want to believe.
We have global capitalism now, everything is commoditized. Our thoughts (twitter), lives (facebook), work (linkedin), dating (online dating) and so on.
Real incomes for men have gone down since 1985, the only way to maintain the same standard of living was to employ and educate women . Of course, to do this, requires much propaganda and manufacturing of consent which has been achieved in the last 40 years. Victim hood, women power, super women, women can do it all and all kinds of catch phrases have convinced women that their primary purpose is not a spiritual one, but one of economics and power and control, stripping away their natural spirituality.
The effect has been wide reaching: increasing divorce, more single than married women in North America, broken families, broken children, entitlement, generations of people taught by mothers who thought they could have it all and taught that to their children, boys and men being left behind in the educational system, women not taking jobs traditionally held by men, economics being the primary factor in marriage vs. love and spirituality, human kindness and empathy and compassion.
Now divorce and separation is worn as a badge of honour.

Let me ask you something, do you keep targeting women who make less than you instead of your equals? No wonder you are scared of losing "your" property.
When you get with a woman who has her own, she isn't relying on you as a meal ticket, and the property you two accumulate together won't be just yours or just hers cause both of you will put in. That's what true partnership is, contributing equally.
