All too often do I see religious folks invoking the bible or the quran etc as a means of basing their morality.
Well it stands to reason that if you really do this, then you don't get to say what good or bad is...all you can say AT THE MOST is whatever your religion commands or asserts.
If you disagree with a part of your religious doctrine, you're using YOUR OWN morality...not the morality in the doctrine.
If you were using your religious doctrine, you wouldn't even have an opinion on the matter as the decision would be made up for you on your behalf.
Stop trying to evade being responsible for VOLUNTARILY associating yourself with something then acting like it gives you leeway to start moving the goalposts.
If you want to believe in that shyt, you better go balls deep because its either true, real, or valid...or its not.

they feel like they're going by God's sense of morality. i mean, who can argue with that? i'm not taking one side or the other but just consider that for a second. if you believe some supreme thing above all we can see had some commands written down, would you argue with that considering he made you? you think you'd rise above that or make something better?
