Religious folks-Whose morality do you use when you ignore something in your religion?

All too often do I see religious folks invoking the bible or the quran etc as a means of basing their morality.

Well it stands to reason that if you really do this, then you don't get to say what good or bad is...all you can say AT THE MOST is whatever your religion commands or asserts.

If you disagree with a part of your religious doctrine, you're using YOUR OWN morality...not the morality in the doctrine.

If you were using your religious doctrine, you wouldn't even have an opinion on the matter as the decision would be made up for you on your behalf.

Stop trying to evade being responsible for VOLUNTARILY associating yourself with something then acting like it gives you leeway to start moving the goalposts.

If you want to believe in that shyt, you better go balls deep because its either true, real, or valid...or its not.

they feel like they're going by God's sense of morality. i mean, who can argue with that? i'm not taking one side or the other but just consider that for a second. if you believe some supreme thing above all we can see had some commands written down, would you argue with that considering he made you? you think you'd rise above that or make something better?

Day three: God creates land in the water, then plants.

Like i said, im assuming 24 hours but thats debateable among people who dont believe in God because they need to find a way to feel comfortable being demonic.

Days between Jesus dying an ress. A little over a day to three days depending on how you count days. Some people count a day as 24 hours, others will include half a day as 1 day, then a 24 hour period followed by whatever day he was ressurected.

Matter of fact, friend, if you have anyone who believes in God in your direct bloodline, you wouldnt even exist without a belief in God. People who are good in their chest and do good things do not concern themselves with this type of campaign. You do not like the responsibility of morality and seek to tear holes in Gods logic so you can feel comfortable at night thinking about all the demonic things you've done. All you have to do is repent, and obviously believe in God friend and he will offer that forgiveness to you. He knows you're trippin right now friend.

Why does it seem like Atheists always want to argue and poke holes in everyone else's religion rather than just enjoying not having one?

I have no problem with atheists, but its just funny that the people who don't believe in any religion are always the first ones to bring it up. And I find that most athiest know more about the bible than most average people but sadly they research it just so they can find flaws and contridictions to use in arguements later.

Everybody should just try to do the right things and try to be a good person.

If Christianity didn't have such an effect not just on them but on our government and the world as large and instead was just a small cult like it was before Constantine found it expedient to establish Christianity as the religion of Roman empire, nobody would give a fukk about it.

Also, let's not pretend atheists proselytize anywhere the level of religious folks do. I don't recall any atheists ever knocking on my door trying to hand out Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion.
